More Fallacies

Many people who heard of the prophecy would come to fabricate their own idea of
what the “Nadar” was. Martin Luther had thought the “Nadar” dwelled in the
Catholic Church, while the Pilgrim thought he would be some where in Europe. The
third famous person to take action after reading the prophecy was General
William Tecumseh Sherman. While he was at West Point University he found the
hidden fragment that the Pilgrims had chisel out of Plymouth Rock. He believed
these words but at first didn’t know who the “Nadar” was. It wasn’t until the Civil
War that he believed that the “Nadar” was an illusion to the South. Thus, he was
motivated to do what ever he could against the South to prevent them from
winning. He instigated total warfare and the scorched earth policy to
further
ruin and discourage any Southern Nadar-to-be.
The Scorched Earth Policy was not the worst of these fallacies however. By now a few Government officials and Aristocrats believed in Nostradamus. They wondered if there was a way to defy the work of Nostradamus, the Untouchable Prophecy included. They should have realized that it was futile, but they were desperate to defy fate. A rumor spread that sacrificing whales was a way to appease fate. The whaling industry sky rocketed as many gullible superstitious privileged people spent thousands of dollars to support the slaughter of innocent whales. People used the fat to burn as oil and used the other part of the whale for different commercial uses. It took many years but the aristocrats would abandon this idea because they realized that whaling was for n00bs.
