More Discrimination

Later Hiram Johnson, a senator from California came into the scene. He had read the prophecy thought that the “Nadar” would come from aboard and take over the United States. He drafted the National Origins Act in 1924 to minimize the amount of immigrant coming from Southern and Eastern Europe. The bill also stopped most Asian immigrants from getting into the United States as well. He knew that Asians and southeastern Europeans were smart and they would be more likely to invent the locust that would doom the country. His efforts were useless though. The airplane had already been invented and Asians would eventually be invited back into the United States.
