Episode Two: The French
Characters involved: Narrator, British Guy, Alarmist, Reasonable Female historian, French Guy
Factoid: In 1848, Karl Marx published his famed book the Communist Manifesto in an attempt to stop the “Nadar.” He thought that Communism would prevent countries from inventing the “man controlled locust” and therefore prevent the rise of the Nadar.
N: The Pilgrims, Sir Francis Drake, Spain, and Martin Luther—al are believe to have known of Nostradamus hidden Untouchable Prophecy but where was the Untouchable Prophecy during this time. Where was it being stored? Simple, Nostradamus’s home country—France. The year is 1789. And King Louis 16th has called the Estates General to order.
RFH: Now the Royal family, King Louis the 14th,
the 15th
and the 16th had lucrative
spending habits. They had run up quite the National Debt. So Louis 16th was pressured to call the Estates General.
FREN: the Estates General is a meeting called during the presence of a national crisis. In this meeting or congress there are three estates with representatives—each gets one vote.
The 1st Estate was the Clergy, all the priests and bishops that made up 1% of the population. The 2nd estate was made of the royal, or people with good last names. They made up 2% of the population. The last estate—everyone else—made up the remaining 97%.
BG: 1 vote, 97% of the population. A tad unfair isn’t it? Why can’t 97% get 97% percent of the vote? It makes sense now but back then it was a revolutionary idea. Too revolutionary, actually, The 3rd estate was later kicked out of the Estates General. The representative of the 3rd estate found it fitting to hold their our estates general in…
in a tennis court.
FREN: In that Tennis Court, they found the Untouchable Prophecy, hidden away in a secret compartment. Most People realized that the Untouchable Prophecy should be kept secret but not all the peasants
were smart enough to do this. Word leaked to some, very few Royals. Eventually word got to a Maximilien Robespierre.
N: Maximilien Robespierre—the most infamous man to rise out from the French Revolution. Ruler of the Reign of terror Chair of the Committee of Public Safety, he is blamed for the execution of over 2000 people in his quest for freedom at any cost—or so the history books say.
RFH: Some think the Maximilien Robespierre was not in search of freedom, but in search of the Untouchable Prophecy. He knew of it but of neither its contents nor its location.
FREN: We think he assumed that the Royal class had it because he has heard of the Untouchable Prophecy from a royal. He after he seized power,
he went mad, searching for it. He’d have royal ripped out of their houses, then he’d search their homes, then after not finding the Untouchable Prophecy he would execute the Royals. After searching so many houses he then went after the peasant class. Executing, killing, Red massing, blood… just so much killing.
ALM: Evidentially the French government did get their hands on the Untouchable Prophecy. Well, after Robespierre had been executed. But the French were always interested in how to get a quick buck and who better to stiff then the Americans.
BG: X (pause) Y (pause) and Z. Mr. X, Y, and Z. According to the history books the French wanted to charge $250 or $240,000 for the American to see their leader but the Grand Conspiracists give an alternative explanation.
ALM: the money wasn’t for a meeting with the French leader, but for the contents of the Untouchable Prophecy—Much better than just a handshake with the leader of France.
FREN: It did not matter in the end. French decided not to disclose the Untouchable Prophecy’s contents anyway. They decide that Americans really shouldn’t know about it. However after the Scandal, the Untouchable Prophecy was stolen
and because it was so secret the French forgot about her Untouchable Prophecy.
N: Yes, perhaps it would have been better for the United States not to hear of the Untouchable Prophecy. For the time being the U. S. was more concerned with keeping the nation together then a four-line poem. This, however, would change in the up coming century. We will explore more of the Untouchable Prophecy’s influence next, on The Grand Conspiracy—Exposed.
